In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Berkeley; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in California are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

we went there for dinner around 9:30pm. It was one of the restaurants that closes late.Butter chicken and naan was good. I ordered thupka and it was just mediocre dish. seemed like made out of Maggi packet with noodles added to it. No flavor or seasoning. Naan was the highlight for us.

Dallas has some amazing food, and I've tried a lot of dishes, but I have to give a special shoutout to the naan! It was truly one of the best I've ever had in the USA. The quality was so good, I ended up eating several pieces just because of the incredible taste and texture. I highly recommend everyone try the naan!

On my short βrepeat soonβ list. The scents escaping the open kitchen lead me in and did not disappoint. And a whole new world opened up: Tandoori Chicken Momos. Big YUMMMM. Very gracious service and chef who were very accommodating in making my order Spicy πΆοΈ. Very delectable, all flavors marry so beautifully. Masala Chai very fragrant and not watered down ;) The Johr (soup) has a great depth of lingering flavors.

I have concerns about the cleanliness of this place. The basket that they brought our naan in was covered in old curry (pic attached). I donβt think this is hygienic. Also, I ordered the crispy cauliflower but it came covered in a very sweet sauce which I didnβt personally like. I did like the tikka masala curry and naan. I would have liked it better without the dirty basket.

I stopped in for dinner one evening while studying late on campus. The service was great, food was delicious, and I left full. I ordered chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and a squirt. The naan is really big and tastes incredible. I asked for medium spicy tikka masala, it was very tasty and it comes with rice. The music was great (kinda wish there were no commercials but it's all good).
